want to NOT hear incoming phone # before every voice mail message

I just switched to Verizon Digital Voice. When I retrieve my voice mail messages the system announces the phone # of the caller prior to every message. Is there a way I can configure things to not do that?   Thanks.  Bob

Yes, the announcement of caller ID information can be turned off. Log into your voicemail box. Press option 4 for "Personal Options". Then press 5 for "Message preferences". Then press 4 to "enable/disable playing of senders caller id". Then press 1 to turn it off.
