I have spent months trying to resolve a VZ mistake and it is only getting worse. I sent the router back via FedEx . It clearly shows it was received, yet the bills kept coming and I kept calling.
Instead of fixing the mistake VZ doubled down and sent me to collections and my credit rating took a hit. I spoke to the collections people and they said they closed the case and sent it back to VZ. When I call VZ financial services dept, they tell me to call the collections people. Round and round I go, when will it stop? Do I have to do the FCRA scorched earth approach?
I found this out when I went to buy a car and my 800+ rating was severely degraded - thanks to VZ. Who can I talk to in order to $0 my account and send a rescind letter to the Credit agencies?
