Hi Everyone!
I am beyond frustrated with Verizon and their pathetic excuses that they make up every time something goes wrong. Today, I received a notification from my credit bureau that my score dropped over 100 points because Verizon has reported a collection account for $81. Now I have done business with Verizon for over 17 years including wireless, fios, and business accounts. Not once did they call me, e-mail me, or mail me anything saying that I owed them $81! Again, I’ve had many accounts with them and not once has it come up as an issue. I was supposed to close on my house this week and now I am delayed because Verizon wants to play games. I called the billing department and collections department and NO ONE can find an account where I owe them $81! I will pay the stupid money just get my credit back to normal. However I can’t pay an account that they can’t find! This is ridiculous! No one there has a clue, everyone just says sorry and sorry we can’t help.
Is there anyone within Verizon that can actually assist and be useful. I need this fixed immediately so that I can close on my house.

Hello, Imrbmw. My apologies to hear of this experience as closing on your home is a big deal, and we don't want to stop that from happening. Help is here. May I ask, what was the number dialed for the collection's department?
