I paid off my Verizon collection on Thursday  October 10th and still have not received any receipt. I also requested an itemized statement of my account be sent to me and the collection to be removed from my credit report.

Hey there, Arnaisha, we appreciate you sending that payment to settle the balance on your account! Was your payment completed through a collection agency? When you say an itemized statement of your account, what information are you looking to view?

Yes it was settled through tsi. I disputed through experian and my balance still has not been updated.  I am looking to see if the iPad was paid off so it can be unlocked.

We can take a look at your account to check on this for you. We will send you a private message to continue.

From what I've read elsewhere in the forums, once your account goes to collections, Verizon has washed their hands of it.  If it were me, I would contact TSI as they are the ones who need to fix the balance issues and whether or not it can be removed from your credit report.

About the iPad unlock, the device unlocking policy says you have to use it on Verizon for 60 days and then it should automatically unlock.  I don't see anything about having to pay off a device, although I'd be surprised if that isn't a stipulation.  If you didn't use the iPad for 60 days on Verizon, then you're out of luck unless you sign back up for service for a couple months?
