I feel such utter frustration and disappointment in your company, Verizon. You have chosen the wrong path. Let me start this story about 20 years back. I had ATT for the better part of 17 years. I was loyal. I decided that I wanted to ask for a phone or some kind of incentive to continue on with ATT. They always reward new people. Of course as I suspected no one could do anything. So, I left them. I went to Verizon. I set up 4 lines with Verizon. Then my son, being old enough, decided to set up his own line. Verizon created a "sub" account for him. I did not know until the better part of a year later when my son's (NOT MINE) unpaid bill ended up on my credit report. I decided to call Verizon. I spoke to 6 people or more and told all of them what was going on. To which each one said let me forward you to the next person. The last person I spoke to was some dumb patsy put there to hang up on customers. The only thing she did was exactly what I asked her not to do, and that was send me back to Tatiana with the collections company. I had already spoken to her and she made it very clear that she was going to be no help. She suggested I file a fraud case on my son (that is so stupid and triggering). The only entity that was fraudulent was Verizon for not well explaining to my young son what he was signing up for. Now, I could have been loyal to Verizon. I could have stayed with them for 15 or 20 years, but for 400 and some odd dollars they have decided to force my hand. I will go with another carrier now. I will keep looking for a company that is as loyal to me as I have been to THEM!
