I have been a Verizon customer for a very long time. When I met my fiancé I added him onto my line. We turned in his old device for credit. When the credit was not being applied I reached out to Verizon to find that they claim the box that contained the device was received empty. I know for a fact I returned it properly and somewhere there must have been tampering. While speaking with Verizon help they were kind enough to give me monthly credit for the device. I would have to call every month to ask for it to be added onto my account. They added this into their notes. For months I called. Some representatives giving me hard times, others attempted to help me not have to call back again, some assured me I wouldn’t have to call but all attempts failed. Almost 2 years now and I’ve just opted to continue to call. Most see the notes and credit me no problem. This time the representative told me that they saw no notes and no record of my discount. I asked him if he had access to my previous bills because I do and they all show it. He then told me that this issue was mine and not his and he needed to make sure I didn’t get a double discount. This took almost 30 minutes.
I don’t appreciate the sarcasm or the smart remarks. I have been with Verizon for a long time and also recently added wifi to my account. Their representatives need to be courteous. I’m not a rude person. I introduce myself and give a quick summary of why I’m calling. I’m going to continue calling and do my part I just hope the next representative is more understanding. This one was not pleasant.
