I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding a serious issue that has caused me significant distress and financial hardship.
In September 2024, I officially canceled my service with Verizon and received a confirmation email verifying that the cancellation had been successfully processed. Despite this, I was later informedโwithout any prior noticeโthat I supposedly owed a remaining balance for services that were no longer in use.
What is even more troubling is that Verizon, without my knowledge or consent, transferred this alleged debt to a collection agency. This action has caused my credit score to drop by 100 points, which has severely affected my ability to open new credit cards and has had a serious negative impact on my financial stability and overall quality of life.
Additionally, I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, but I have been continuously passed between different departments with no one willing to take responsibility or provide a solution. This lack of accountability and customer support has only worsened the situation.
I demand the following actions be taken immediately:
- A thorough investigation into this wrongful debt and the unauthorized transfer to a collection agency.
- Immediate removal of any negative marks from my credit report related to this issue.
- A formal apology and written confirmation that this situation has been fully resolved.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response within [10 business days], I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including filing a complaint with the relevant regulatory authorities.
