I have been a Verizon customer for 19 years. NEVER a late payment and tens of phones bought from them in that time despite them being the most expensive phone service out there. I canceled my service only because where I am moving Verizon wireless cellphone service doesn’t work. Numerous dropped calls and no WiFi signal. I cancel my service via the app and they continued to charge me for 3 months. Because their customer service is horrible, it was a lot of back and forth and phone calls not returned. Now they have sent me to collections and I can’t get a hold of anyone !!! I’m trying to buy a house and I have NEVER had a delinquency on my credit and this company that I was with for 19 years!!!!!! Decided to mess with that and now my credit score has dropped 120 points!!! They don’t report the 19 years of never a late payment but they report the 3 months of service that I didn’t even use because I cancelled it!
