My Verizon Notifications for Fios Home Phone

Hello,

I had for the longest time the My Fios app which would give me push notifications when someone called my Landline and if they left a Voicemail.  Since that app was removed I can't find a way to get those push notifications any longer.  I did see where I can get a Text or Email, but there is no option for a Push Notification, is that option something that will come back ever?  Is it even on the roadmap?

  Thanks,

I understand your concern and frustration about losing the push notification feature from the My FiOS app. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information in the provided context that suggests Verizon plans to bring back the push notification feature for landline voicemails.

However, I can suggest some alternative options for you:

1. Text notifications: As you've already noticed, you can receive text notifications when someone calls your landline and leaves a voicemail.

2. Email notifications: You can also set up email notifications to receive updates on new voicemails.

3. Check the Fios Digital Voice user guide: According to page 32 of the user guide (as mentioned in the context), there might be information on setting up email notification for incoming calls.

As for whether push notifications will return, I couldn't find any indication from Verizon that they plan to bring back this feature. It's possible that they may consider re-releasing a new app or updating their existing services to include similar features, but at this time, there is no information available about it being on the roadmap.

If you're interested in receiving updates on new voicemails, I recommend exploring the email and text notification options mentioned above. You can also reach out to Verizon customer support for more information on setting up these notifications or explore other third-party apps that might offer similar features.
