Anyone know the SMTP (outgoing mail) address for Verizon / Yahoo ?

Every time I upgrade the Operating system, Windows "Easy transfer" only saves and transfers mail & settings if you use IE.

I use Firefox / Thunderbird.

The last time I laboriously found it on this site it was not the correct one for the customers who selected Yahoo as their email server and I have yet to find it on the Yahoo site.

Isn't "self service" great !!!

I figured it out on the Verizon automated answering irritant whose actual answer is of course wrong.

They say it's, "outgoing.verizon.net."  It's actually, "outgoing.yahoo. verizon.net" if you chose to use Yahoo for your email.

It's the "outgoing" part that I was getting wrong.  I was using "smtp."
