DVD-ROM required?

Hi,

I'm looking to get FiOS Internet and I noticed that it says you need a DVD-ROM drive on the system requirements page

One of the computers in my house is a nettop PC which doesn't have any optical drive on it.

Does this really mean I won't be able to use it with FiOS?

You do not need to install anything nor do you need a DVD to use FIOS.

The tech respected my desire for him not to install any software on my computer

Thanks for the reply.

I figured it probably wasn't necessary for anything to be installed but I thought it was a little odd for a drive to be listed as a requirement.
