Extra ONT box after install

I just had my FIOS TV, Internet, and Phone installed and everything is working well. As I was picking up and throwing out the cardboard boxes I find an extra ONT box in its pink wrapper along with its black box power supply cord. My customer receipt doesnt help determine if I was charged twice for this seeing as some items are listed as kits.

We pay enough for the mandatory Quatom router. This device cant just go to waste. We are the ones paying for this type of unaccountability.

Can I return this to Verizon for some type of credit to my account?

How do you know it an ONT? Are you certain it’s not the Back Up Battery Unit (BBU)

in certain cases the BBU is not needed so it may just be a residual part that was not installed. Since it’s part of the ont you are not paying more for it.

What you are paying for shows up in your account details both in your initial email and on your online account (or hard copy invoice)

As said you shouldn't be paying anything for these parts. However I would hold onto it in case they realize they left them and want it back.
