It is almost 2019 and Baltimore City still doesn’t have Fios. Will this dream ever be realized???? My current internet is so very SLOW. Will Baltimore City ever know the Nirvana the other surrounding counties get to enjoy????

verizon has stated it was no longer building out, but if it was in your area already they may expand it. So you will have to keep calling or checking.
i have read other providers are going to the higher gigabyte speeds so you may want to check on them as well.
Verizon is focusing more on 5G these days than they are on FiOS expansion. A lot of fiber they are pulling will likely go towards 5G, and maybe also pave the way for getting a Fiber to the Home connection. But do expect your local Cable company to offer a better selection of speeds if you're still on DSL for the foreseeable future, until 5G comes around at least.
