How do I stop the Flex View po-up message from opening EVERY TIME I log into My Verizon Home? The "do not show again" box does not help. Tech support is helpless. This makes my want to drop FIOS.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks for the help, folks, but no cigar so far. I still have the problem in all three browsers.
I did discover something interesting. I changed my bookmark to go directly to the "Email & More" tab on My Verizon and the message does not show up. However, when I then click on the "Home" tab, there it is!
So, my work-around is to not go the the Home tab anymore. I find this really silly - maybe Verizon wants to run me off?
I think someone said its associated with the yahoo toolbar they push. Uninstall it.
I'm using Chrome and do not have Yahoo toolbar, as best as I can tell. The problem also happens in IE and FireFox.
I don't see it using firefox or ie. I do have basic popup blocker on, but verizon is in my exception list.
Tom I do not see it in IE (win 7 or 😎 nor do i see it in FF (Ubuntu 12.04) Try turning on tracking protection in IE and try AdBlock Plus w/FF.
I don't consider this issue "Solved" if it involves the user manipulating their home page to force a resolution which should be solved by clicking on the "Do Not Show This Again" option.
Iwill consider this issue solved when I can log on to the home page WITHOUT SEEING THIS POPUP AD.
I agree - I'm just tired of fooling with it.
I have the same issue with firefox. It sucks everytime!
I have complained to support maybe they will do something
Don't hold your breath while you are waiting for support to do "something."
