Forgive my tech ignorance, but here's what I'm hoping to do with a new Verizon high-speed account: The only computer in my house will be a netbook with wireless (but no CD drive). Will I be able to set up the Verizon modem and router and connect wirelessly with the netbook without using a computer that has a CD drive for the Verizon Online account and modem installation?
Thanks.

Open any browser window and type in https://activate.verizon.net/launch/welcome and follow the screen menu.

I checked the information in the link, but it says the computer to be used must be connected directly to the modem. This is my problem. I'm using a netbook that has no modem, only an internal wireless adapter. Therefore, I have to find a way to activate the Verizon modem and install the router without using a computer that is directly connected.

#1 I know it says to do that.
#2 Just try ignoring that direction and follow the rest of the directions..
