A big tree took out all the wires up the street. The utility restored power, but we still don't have internet. We've talked to Verizon, and they sent someone out, but he wasn't able to do anything about it. Seemed like they didn't understand what the problem was at all no matter how many times we told them it was a tree up the street.
Now the website is reporting there are no outages in our area, our ticket was mysteriously closed, and there's no way to get any customer support.
The callback function disappeared from the webite, the chat window instantly says they won't help, and the phone system kicked me out after a few minutes without ever talking to a person.
This complete lack of support is unacceptable. Does Verizon even know about the problem? Is it going to be fixed? When? At least Comcast didn't leave us in the dark with problems like this.
