Hello, I am trying to use MOCA to get internet to a room that doesn't have an ethernet connection. I bought a 2 pack 2.5 adapter, and am having trouble connecting with my verizon 3100 and asus router. Setup is ONT>3100 (both coax and ethernet)>asus router for wifi. My first question is, do I even need an adapter at the 3100 since it supports moca? Just by having it hooked up to the coax in the wall, does it provide internet signal? If it doesn't where should I put the adapter. I have used a splitter to place it between the ONT and 3100, and after them. I did get a blinking green coax at the 3100, but did not get anything (no blinking coax light) where the 2nd adapter is placed in the room below that I am trying to get signal to. Any tricks to getting the 2nd adapter to work. I appreciate any incite.
