Upload Speeds less than 3 Mbps - Disabling TCP v6 UDP Offload not heping

I read previous reports of this issue, but the posted correct solution does not work for me.

My ethernet download speed is over 300Mbps and my download speed is less than 3Mbps. Wireless speeds are both over 300Mbps. This is only on one pc in the house; the other Windows c works fine. Both are connected to the same Fios extender. Router speeds using Verizon speed tests on both PCs are over 300Mbps up and down. The only problem is upload speed on on pc.

I tried the previously posted solution of disabling TCP IPV6 checksum offload. I also tried with UDP Checksum disabled and another time with both settings disabled for both IPV4 and V6. Results are always below 3Mbps for upload speed.

Our current service is 200/200. Suggestions?

I was having similar issues. Does your system use Intel Ethernet adapters?

I found a posting and an errata from Intel that TCP Chksum offload for IPv^6 is broke. Disabling TCP Offload for IPv6 (as well as for UDP) looks like it fixed my issue. I tried disabling IPv6 completely but that seemed to cause other sites to not load or load very slowing.

go to device manger to ID the adapter you have, then right click for properties, ->advanced, ->tcp offloading options, properties from that, then you'll see the check boxes to disable,

A few questions for clarification:

. Which router is being used?

. Is there an extender also being used? If so, is the computer connected to it or the router?

. Has the Ethernet cable between the computer and the router/extender been replaced with a known good one?

Hello,

I have a model G3100 router and an extender. Both PCs (the with the slow upload speed and the one without a problem) are connected to the extender. I tried three different ethernet cables on the problem pc - 2 CAT 5e's and 1 CAT 6. The results are always the same. Is there something going on with my network adapter and IPV6 maybe?
