Wifi 6 not working 5Ghz shows g connection / 54Mbps

Question

No longer able to connect and get the wifi 6 indicator on my Note 10+.  Fios router shows as a wifi 6 device before connecting, but once connected, details for the connection show 54Mbps.

I have gone as far as turning off the 2Ghz wireless completely.  Any way to force ax on the 5Ghz radio?

I have enough issues with getting the Gigabit I pay for and this certainly isn't helping.

Turn off SON (Self Organizing Network) this should take care of the issue.

Having gigabit has nothing to do with any wireless connections. Wireless is never guaranteed by any service.
