My Mac connects to my home wifi router. Same as everything else. Everything else is working fine but on this Mac I can't access the internet. Here's what I've tried:
1) check advanced settings -> proxies and there is nothing set for any of the options including https and http
2) manually set DNS server to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and still can't get out to internet
3) turned off advanced protection option on router, still can't get out to internet
4) in a browser, tried to go to https://1.1.1.1 and it doesn't work (it's IP so doesn't require DNS lookup)
5) restarted comptuer
6) tried another account on same computer
7) connect to my hotspot via AT&T and everything works as expected - I can access everything, I can ping 1.1.1.1 and get to https://1.1.1.1, pinging 1.1.1.1 fails on the Mac when connected to wifi
8- one of the first things I did is reset the modem
9) i checked the device list and the unit is not "blocked"
Any ideas what is going on??
