I activated my Fios 300mbps home internet connection on 12/21/23 and was promised a $50 Amazon promotion gift card. When i try to redeem the gift card on the my Verizon app, it keeps erroring out. Upon researching the issue in the community forums, I've found that this issue goes way back and people have been complaining about this for years but there has been little to none that Verizon has done for the customers to fix the issue.

Where did you get your Amazon code? I signed up for the same package with the same amazon promotion code and had my install done on 1/4/24. I cant find it in my email. If you received it by email, what was the title of the email please?
(heads up, i hope it didnt happen to you, but they tried charging me for the $99 install fee, even though i purchased through the website. the $99 install fee only applies to telephone orders) i had to contact support for 40 minutes to get them to credit me
