Unable to claim $100 e-certificate

I ordered my Fios internet plan with a offer 'free Samsung Chromebook +100 gift card'. I received an email with an embedded promo code. It directed me to the Samsung website, but i was only able to redeem the Chrome book. It doesn't work for the $100 e-certificate.
