192.168.0.1 doesnt open

I keep getting an error 

 

This site can’t be reached

192.168.0.1 took too long to respond.

Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall
  • Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Check your internet connection.

Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using.

Allow Opera to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.

If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

If you use a proxy server…

Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to the Main menu > Settings > Change Proxy Settings… > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN".

I think the default IP address of the G3100 is https://192.168.1.1, not 192.168.0.1.

You can check this from a Windows PC desktop or laptop by opening up a command window.  (You can open up a command window by pressing the Win + R [run] keys and typing cmd in the Open: text box where "Win" is the Windows Key. Alternatively, type cmd in the search box. Run the command prompt app.)

Type in the command ipconfig /all, and you should see a response like the picture below.

The Default Gateway IP address should be the IP address of your router. I have changed my router settings from the default, so I use https://192.168.3.1 in my browser.
