I recently moved my service to my new apartment and got a surprise bill of $317.78 (instead of the expected $59.99). After talking to billing, they informed me that I was charged for a technician visit and setup fee. However, this was a self-install with no technician visit or setup fee (as confirmed in my order e-mail).
None of these charges were authorized by me and I was never informed of these charges (and also no technician visit ever happened).
I was hoping to have this mistake resolved quickly, but after more than 1:30hr in customer support it got nowhere. This is an extremely upsetting experience as a loyal Verizon customer.
I am fed up with Verizon and will not be recommending it to anyone.
