A Verizon Tech opened a utility box that’s underground and in the corner of my yard then ran a black cable all the way along my yard and up my neighbor’s driveway. They never consulted me even though my wife and I were both home at the time. I saw the van outside but knew we had new neighbors so didn’t think twice about it. The cable is very dangerous since it’s black and hard to see. We have a lawn crew coming to cut the grass - I don’t know how they will cut around it. The worst part is - they didn’t close the ground level utility box! This is extremely dangerous! If I hadn’t caught it before my kids went over there they could have fallen in. I also (since no one talked to me) have no idea what they plan to do next. Are they intending to dig up my yard to bury this cable? There is also a second source at the corner of my neighbor’s yard - I know because that’s where they ran ours from (yes I am a Verizon Fios customer - at least for now). Something has to be done. At the very least I need to be informed about what their plan is, it’s happening to my property. #Fios #highspeedinternet #5G
