OMG Verizon…..how difficult can you make it for me to cancel my service? I just lost over an hour of my life with your tech support trying to find out what a Desktop ONT is. When I placed a call on May 1st to cancel service I spoke to someone named Jim. He told me not to worry about the ONT in my basement.
I received an email today, May 2, requesting that I return a Desktop ONT along with my Fios TV One boxes.. There are two Verizon boxes on my basement wall….one with all kinds of wires running into it. Your “techs” could not tell me what this desktop ONT box looks like and then proceeded to tell me I would be charged if someone came out to retrieve them. If you want this equipment back you will need to come and retrieve at your expense on May 13th, my disconnect date, as I am not an electrician.
I am moving into another home in August and Comcast is looking like the better option at this point. I have been a Verizon Fios customer for 11 years and never late with a payment. Your customer service is terrible and I am beyond frustrated.
