Service: fios 1 gig since 6/13/25. Router: CR1000B. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S23.
I have wifi calling enabled on my phone. If my phone is connected to my CR1000B router I cannot make or receive calls. I do not have trouble using wifi calling anywhere else. I setup port forwarding for TCP 143, UDP 500 and UDP 4500 and it made no difference. When people call me it just goes straight to voicemail when on my wifi. If I try to make a call I have to turn wifi off. I can be literally 5 feet away from the router with a strong signal and it just won't work.
Anything I can do? Should I ask for a new router? New ONT?

This is a reported issue after recent firmware upgrade released for CR1000A/B. To fix the issue you will have to access router dashboard, disable IPv6 and reboot router. The steps are mentioned below:
Advanced > Network Settings > IPv6 > 1. Enable IPv6 Support - Disbale > Apply Changes
Note: To access Dashboard use default gateway address 192.168.1.1 or www.mynetworksettings.com and use Network Settings Password printed on the backside of the router.

Should I enable it and then disable it? It is currently disabled and has never been enabled.

I gave up with this terrible router and got an eero. Everything about the eero works so much better. Even my wired desktop speeds are better. Verizon should be ashamed of the garbage that is the CR1000B.
