I recently got Verizon Fios but unfortunately it is impossible to turn off the wifi so that the LED light switches to green - which according to the manual indicates that the wifi is switched off. I have disabled all three networks in the MyVerizon App. Why is this happening and how can I turn the wifi signal off?

Could you only adjusting the settings through the router GUI, instead of the app?

Hi Cang, thanks a lot for your help. When I'm in the router network settings it looks like all my networks have been disabled. However, the LED is still a solid white instead of green - which it should be according to the manual if all wifi is disabled. Any idea as to why this might be the case? Thanks so much for your help.

Do you have any wireless Fios TV boxes or any Fios network extenders connected wirelessly on your network? Wi-Fi may still be on in order to serve those devices using a hidden SSID.

Hey Smith, Unfortunately I don't 😞 I don't have a Fios TV or an extender. But is it possible that it's somehow turned on by default anyway? If yes, would it be possible to supress the hidden network?

It's possible, and I'm not aware of any method to do so outside of what you've already done.
