Hello,
I have Fios WiFi service (with the white cylindrical router).
I live in an apartment building and I have reason to believe that my super or his workers have been entering my apartment when I'm not home and possibly stealing or damaging my things.
In an attempt to counter this , I purchased two Tapo wifi cameras and positioned both facing my interior front door from different positions. The cameras only record when they detect movement, and the footage is uploaded to the cloud.
One thing I've been noticing is that sometimes when I get home, I still notice things out of place, but for whatever reason, my cameras never recorded any video footage showing anyone entering my space. In my opinion, there could be one of two causes for this:
Either my super is shutting off the power to my apartment from the fuse box in the hallway before he enters, or, he is disconnecting my wifi from the cords that extend out of my apartment along the ceiling. The cameras don't record without power or Wi-Fi.
After some investigating, I concluded that the power wasnt being shut off, so he must be disabling my Wi-Fi. That being said, my question is-
Is there anything I can do to detect if my Wi-Fi was disrupted at any point while Im not home? The logic behind this is, if I can find out if my Wi-Fi went off at any point while I was at work, then it could let me know when they're entering my apartment.
Thanks
