Customer service keeps hanging up on me.

I have tried multiple times to get a callback from Verizon to discuss our home internet issues. Every time it calls back, it hangs up on me. During work hours. I am in a live chat and the person says they cannot call me by phone. How is it that a massive company does not have phone service? I have spent 30 minutes in a chat and we are making no progress. HELP!
