Disabling wifi

I went to the app and disabled my FIOS wifi as I am concerned with conflict to my existing wifi (eg, I cannot now connect to Sonos). The app says all wifi is disabled BUT my iPad still shows the Verizon wifi as available

 

help.. is there more disabling that needs to be done??
