Extended Wi-Fi to back of my property

Brandhollowbrooks

Hi. I am looking for advice to better Wi-Fi to the back of my property. I have an office and pool bar about 120 feet behind my house. The Wi-Fi in my house is great but not back there. When we setup service we ran a line under ground to my office but never hooked it up. What do I need to hook it up? What equipment do I need?

When you say you ran a line, do you mean Ethernet, coax, or something else? If it's Ethernet, you would need to connect the end in your house to one of the router's LAN ports or a switch that's in turn connected to the router. On the far end near the office, I would use a wireless access point (WAP) or a router that supports WAP mode. I have both an Orbi mesh network and a TP-Link router in Access Point mode. The advantage of the router in access point mode is that it extends the wireless network and provides four wired ports as well.
