I would like to use my own router instead of the supplied Fios router. Currently the setup, which works, is COAX from ONT to Fios router. No problems there. The new router I bought doesn't have a COAX in, so I bought a MOCAL 2.0 adapter (used these elsewhere). I have COAX from ONT to MOCA then ethernet to WAN. That doesn't appear to work as it never gets an IP. Is this possible or do I need to have them run an ethernet cable from ONT to inside?
