I just got a used G3100 router. Everything seems to work fine.
Under the admin webgui, Devices, there is a correct list of connected devices.
However there is simply no dropdown list to click on for device "details" as described in verizon user guide "Select Expanded List from the dropdown list to view additional device information for all connected devices, Block/Allow, etc."

I just found out today by accident that there is actually a Horizontal Scrollbar at the bottom of the Advanced | Devices screen… So if you moved the bar to towards the right, everything is there!

What view mode are you in? Are you in Basic or Advanced view mode?

Hi Cang_Household ,
Thanks so much for the message. Sorry for the delayed response. I was busy and didn't check my inbox for a couple of days...
I was in the Advanced mode. In short, the 'Device Details' option is completely unavailable.
However, if I signed into my verizon account online and try to manage G3100 that way, I do see device detail options similar to what were described in the user guide.
It's quite inconvenient not being able to easily change the device details, and click on the Devices only seeing the 'automatically assigned device details' and not the user modified details.
However, otherwise the router is functioning correctly so I would assume this is a design feature in the Firmware 3.2.0.15 and is not a issue with the hardware that I recently got.
Thanks so much again for your reply.

I have the same issue with the Verizon CR1000A router, just received two days ago.
