How can I get my address into Verizon's database?

I have a newly constructed home, and I've been trying to install Fios internet. However, I've been experiencing a lot of back and forth with Verizon representatives. Initially, I was told I would receive a response within 48 hours and that my address would be updated in the database within a week, allowing me to set up internet service. Later, I was informed it could take 6-12 months.

When I enter my neighbors' addresses (who are directly next to me), their addresses show availability for Verizon Fios. In fact, my whole block has access to Verizon Fios. The representatives keep insisting that engineers are aware there is Fios in my neighborhood but claim that availability varies from house to house. I was then told it might take 7-10 days, a month, or even 6 months for an engineer to respond.

Has anyone had any success getting their new construction home added to Verizon's database? They said they couldn't provide me with a ticket number because the engineer is aware of the situation, and I would just have to keep contacting them for updates.

Your scenario sounds eerily similar to mine, including being given almost the exact same verbiage (excuses) about the time delays, engineering tickets etc. Long story short that is all garbage and you are getting the run around.
To resolve my issue I had to search for and find the names of corporate level execs and send nasty e-mails in order to get a resolution. Sad that it took that but it ultimately got the ball rolling. I wish I still had that info, or I would happily share it.
