I threw away the wire that connects my backup battery to my FIOS box. I need to get a new one.
Can anyone tell me how to get a new wire?
As a backup, I am willing make my own wire. But I don't know what the connector is called at the box. Anyone know that? (See picture)
Thanks!

@ferizon wrote:Hi Tom,
Thanks for reply, but there is nothing about the wire in the Verizon support site. (Including the link that you sent.)
I am pretty sure that I am not the first guy to have lost this wire. Its a bit frustrating that Verizon doesn't make them available for purchase.
So, my quest continues. Still looking for this wire.
Thanks again,
Joe
This may help you. First solution is to find the part number and on http://google.com it should come up with the product specs. I know there is also other ways to get this power cord.
did you stop into one of the Verizon Fios brick and mortar stores? They would have the correct specs and or even the part its self.
another thing to try is a place like Amazon which may have the power cord listed.
other places are to ask at Toms Hardware http://www.tomshardware.com
or at Howard's forum http://www.howardforums.com/content.php
hope you find it...

Hopes this helps others. Here is the part. It's not cheap ($19) but I guess that will help me remember not to chuck it next time! I've been living with out a back up battery for several years now, but we've had so many power outages over the past few months that I can't stand playing the re-boot shuffle b/w my verizon box and router anymore.
