I carefully followed the instructions on page "Entering DNS settings in the Actiontec MI424WR router to opt out of DNS Assistance" <http://www22.verizon.com/ResidentialHelp/FiOSInternet/Troubleshooting/Network/QuestionsOne/99144.htm>, but they do not correspond with what I see on my two-year-old Actiontec MI424WR.
On mine there is no place to enter addresses for a Primary or Secondary DNS Server. How do I do this?
It appears that entry is incorrect.Maybe an older version of the Actiontec software was being used for that web page?
On my Actiontec I have to click on the WAN entry that shows connected, not the Broadband one. This does show the DNS servers, and you can click on the Settings button to allow you to update the entries.
Hope this helps.

I did this once I got FiOS. The directions are still the same for me. Did you click settings in step 8? From there you can change the last two of the DNS to get un filtered.
