I am getting an old (cached?) error response from a website - I change my IP address and it works correctly

Ever since Tuesday we would get this message going to the Giant Food Stores website. (The website is no longer down.)
The Giant app on our phones also would not connect (just clocks or whatever you kids call it).
If we don't use Wi-Fi and use the T-Mobile network, then it all works fine on our phones.
I cleared browser data, used the Safari browser on the iMac (which we never used for Giant before), restarted the eero mesh, reset the Verizon router, restarted the Fios ONT box. We have Fios TV, so we need the Verizon router.
I spent a good hour on the phone with Verizon and we did a Trace Route and they said we got through their system and passed on to the web.
I also connected the iMac to the ONT box, bypassing the routers, with the same results.
I am waiting on Giant tech support to call back supposedly within 2 days.
I used a free VPN to access Giant on our phones through our wifi and everything works fine.
I definitely don't know the ins and outs of the internet, but I see this as a Giant Food Stores problem. I'm just confused as to how this can happen and if my conclusion is correct.
Why would my IP address hang on to this, uh, ghost response?

I resolved this problem by forcing an IP Address change by shutting down my ONT and Fios Router overnight for 12 hours.
For whatever reason, the error only occurred using my old IP Address.
