Intermittent Fios Internet Outage

Hello all. Over the past few months I have been experiencing outages with my Fios internet service. Outages can occur any time of day/night and can last for a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. I called support and got nothing but "you need faster service, here is how much it will cost" which I know I don't need. This is an outage, not slow service. In my router logs I see below during an outage. Support refuses to even look at the logs. When I call support everything works, so they say everything is great.
Any suggestions what the issue may be or how to proceed with support?

From other threads, this appears that it might be a PON card issue. If thats the case, how can I direct support to at least look at it if there are issues?

Also noticed a red light comes on for "VID" at times. Even with the red light on service still works other than the random outages.

I was able to get Verizon to investigate the ONT while I had an intermittent outage today. Finally, they saw there was really a problem and a technician is scheduled. Going to request they replace the ONT as it sounds like I have the same exact problem as this person --> Fios internet dropping multiple times daily : r/Fios
It would have been nice if the initial support call actually looked at historical logs and not just the status of "now" and misdiagnose the issue. In any case hopefully the technician will finally resolve the issue.

This looks like a PON issue (the fiber infrastructure outside of your house). To facilitate troubleshooting, when you contact the representative again, please ask to check the "PON alarms."
The ONT could also be at fault. Is this a new installation?

Not a new installation. Its been in place for 10+ years. The outages just started randomly happening a couple of months ago. I have the technician coming Monday and as you suggested I will ask about PON Alarms. I will keep this thread updated with any results.

Hello All. I'm still working through this issue. I am still getting the same errors as originally reported. I've had 3 technicians out and they did replace my ONT on the last visit. Another change was switching my internet from coax to ethernet on the ONT. Still same results. The last technician that was out gave me a number to text, so I sent him the logs with timestamps and suggested a possible PON issue. He seemed very knowledgeable, so I hope I gave enough information that they can narrow this down. I will update when/if I get a final resolution to this.

The ONT fail light in your original picture is concerning.
I'd like to hear how this turns out.
