Hello!

For your situation, a Verizon Fios installation for internet service in your double-wide manufactured home in New York State, specifically in Lafayette, is definitely feasible. Fios can provide you with high-speed internet without the need for Wi-Fi, ensuring your wife's laptop can stay connected while she works from home.

Regarding the wiring, Verizon would typically run Ethernet cables through existing electrical wires within your home. This process is known as 'in-wall' or 'in-floor' cabling. The technicians will ensure the cables are securely installed and routed to an appropriate location for your modem/router. This location can be discussed with the installation team, and they can offer guidance on the best placement based on your home layout.

As for any additional charges, it is recommended to contact a local Verizon installation specialist or advisor. They can provide you with a detailed quote, including any potential costs for custom installations or extra services. This quote will be tailored to your specific home and requirements.

Remember, the installation process can vary depending on the unique characteristics of your home and its wiring. Always ensure that any work performed by Verizon technicians is done with your permission and that you are satisfied with their plan for wiring before they proceed.
