I live in a landmark Brooklyn neighborhood where no poles or wires are allowed. All utilities but Verizon have honored this. When I purchased the property, I saw wires hanging across my backyard going to other neighbors. We confirmed there was no easement for the utility company. All other internet service companies complied with the rules of running their wiring underground in the front of the property by the sidewalk. This is only happening for a small portion of East 19th Street. Everywhere else the underground work was done. Who do we have to reach out to to address this situation? I tried Verizon, my community board, and I'm about to call Landmarks directly.
