So I enrolled in the Mcafee Home Network program and it was the worst mistake to make. The program manages your devices through the my verizon app which has the worst user interface for a billion dollar company. Its takes so long just to get to my account. Not only does the app itself function poorly. But Mcafee program is just as slow and unresponsive. It doesn’t even list the device details on your network like IP and MAC addresses.
Point is i wanted to use the verizon home awareness app which has better features. The only issue is the home app prevents you from editing device access if you have the Mcafee program enrolled. And you can only unenroll from the horrible my verizon app. When i tried to do this it gave me an error of being unable to process the unenrolling request (no surprise there)
went to customer support chat and was redirected 3 times and no one was able to fix a simple issue that only took a tap of the screen to start in the first place. Now im hoping a call to tech support may be able to do something but seeing how this went i dont have high hopes.
I have been a customer for fios internet for over 5 years now and i think this may be the sign to change providers. Any suggestions for internet services that actually can help you as fast as they want money would be appreciated.
