- I’m not sure why Microsoft teams works fine when further away from my actual router. When I use Teams in my upstairs bedroom that has an extender in it, I have no issues with video calls. When I use teams right next to my router in my first floor office, people can’t hear me, my audio and video breaks up and freezes. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve spent hours troubleshooting with Verizon support and restarted the router bunches of times.

This just indicates a Basic Service Set roaming issue. Roaming issue is determined by the client, not the access points.
What wireless access point is the computer connected when you are in the first floor office?

Hi, can you explain what you mean by access point? How do I determine what access point i’m connected to?
