New self install - ONT showing red

Hello folks,

I moved to a new apartment and started new Fios service. Today 5/9/24 my router got delivered. I attempted to set up the router but the ONT seems to be having issues.

I only subscribed to internet service.  Lights in ONT are as follows.

System status: green

Replace battery: red

PWR: green

BTRY: off

FAIL: red

VID: off

DATA: green

POTS: flashing

In addition my router shows a steady yellowish light.

If you haven't contact Verizon yet, contact them now.  You've got an ancient ONT that could be failing or out-of support.  It very likely needs to be upgraded.  There could also be a problem with the fiber connection.  A Verizon technician will need to visit your home to diagnose and correct the issue.
