New self install - ONT showing red

Hello folks,

I moved to a new apartment and started new Fios service. Today 5/9/24 my router got delivered. I attempted to set up the router but the ONT seems to be having issues. 

I only subscribed to internet service.  Lights in ONT are as follows. 

System status: green

Replace battery: red

PWR: green

BTRY: off

FAIL: red

VID: off

DATA: green

POTS: flashing

In addition my router shows a steady yellowish light.

If you haven't contact Verizon yet, contact them now.  You've got an ancient ONT that could be failing or out-of support.  It very likely needs to be upgraded.  There could also be a problem with the fiber connection.  A Verizon technician will need to visit your home to diagnose and correct the issue.

Note you're talking mostly to other users here, so you'll need to reach out to Verizon through their support channels.  I recommend using their online chat, tweeting @Verizonsupport or DM'ng them on their Facebook page.

Thanks.  I have many been back to the new place as yet so was waiting till then to call them.
