ONT to WAN

I live in an older house and our internet hasn’t been working for the past few days. Been on the chat trying to get help but no help. Inwas told:

First, unplug the POWER of the ONT.
Once the lights goes off.
Kindly unplug the fiber cable, (This is the white thin cable with a green tip).
Once unplugged, wait for three minutes.
After two minutes, plug the fiber cable back and then plug back in

i have 3 boxes on the outside of my house and can’t open 2 of them. One is open but nothing fits the description above.

Anyone have any ideas
