Sloppy outage communication in DC

FiOS communication on the current outage extends beyond unprofessional.  Almost 2 days in and there's no consistent communication on outage scope, and it varies between vzw communication vector.  1 site says potentially a problem, another says no problem...and they keep varying between the 2.  And that's not even getting at ETA, nor outage cause.  It's clearly a huge outage and a simple ping of modems would ID outage map.

People have jobs and other important tasks - I totally understand how hard physical infra / cable cuts are, but this is sloppy engineering management, and it's increasing the impact to your users.  I suggest folks request partial credits, not for the money but for vz leadership to notice and take corrective actions.  Total disregard for how this impacts ppls lives.

 

Get it together.
