Slowness or no connection

Up until yesterday service was perfect.  Yesterday afternoon I could not connect via my pc or PS5.  Eventually it would connect, then disconnect over and over again.  When it did connect service was exceptionally slow.  I have 1GB Fios (I only use ethernet on both)  Both had brand new cat8 cables, swapped them, no help.  Last night worked with a verzion person for over and hour, last thing he had me reset the router, which did not help either.  The chat we had going stopped working (my phone was not connected to the wifi).  I reached out to verizon again this morning, no help at all.  He was resetting that router remotely, did not resolve the issue and he ended the chat.  I need help here with this.
