Smart tv keeps freezing and then has spinning loading circle

Had a CR1000B installed last friday, 2/2. Tonight we were watching Amazon Prime on a Samsung smart tv and it kept freezing and then we would see the spinning circle and then eventually it would flow again. That shouldn't be happening. it seemed to have performed better with my last Verizon router. Also some of the menu pictures were gray for a bit then loaded with pictures for the shows. This doesn't seem like proper performance. I thought this router would improve things. I don't want to be watching shows that stop and start up. There is also an issue where when i call the fios techs, they do not see my new router information. How can that be fixed?? A reboot did not help. My laptop gets download speeds of between 60-80mbps, but my cell phone can get 300 at times and then other times a lot lower.

THis may be due to the samsung tv 2015. My other devices have no issues with streaming subscripts.

For some reason , the tv shows that spinning circle at times and then also freezes sometimes while streaming. Takes some time to load too. Used to take time but since the new router, it freezes and it never did that before. i guess i need a newer tv at some point.

I also had a tech out here to do some things so that Verizon recognizes the device. my d/l speeds seem to fluctuate and must be caused by shifts in frequencies.

Out of nowhere while we're watching anything on the TV we'll get hit with a frozen picture, a spinning circle, or a pixelated picture for about a few seconds. It IS very annoying, more so supposedly I have all the latest and greatest FiOS router, set top box, and VMS, everything self-installed in December 2024. My Samsung TV was bought in Costco in 2013. I never had this kind of trouble with the old set top box setup.

I also wish I can buy a remote control that is larger with bigger buttons and doesn't dim out within a few seconds. Basically no one in the house is thrilled with the remote.

We also miss being able to queue up the shows for the day/week and have the channels automatically change to the schedule.

We loved when you could see who was calling you on the phone (99% phony) without having to get up and grab the handset.
