I have to say I’m so disappointed in how Verizon has handled and outage of my internet which has affected my business and my wife’s working from home. The internet has been out for 2 days now going on 3 and I have not been able to receive an honest answer from them on how they are rectifying the issue. I was told that the services were being fixed and that there was an engineering team working on the issue on the next street over from where I live so out of curiosity I went over to the next street to see if there were actually Verizon technicians working on the issue and there was no one. So as I was on the phone with the technician assuring me that they were there he continued to lie. This led me to believe this is why my internet has been out so long because they didn’t see the urgency in fixing the issue so they were willing to lie to their customers about their efforts to resolve the issue at the cost of my family’s income and livelihood. Not to mention I have a son with autism and it has been horrible trying to maintain his calm and ability to manage because his routines have been totally shattered due to him being unable to watch his educational programming and what keeps him focused when I’m not doing therapy with him. We live in a time where EVERYTHING is done online and being cut off from the ability to manage has been a HUGE inconvenience and a major setback for my son and his routines. I have been a paying customer with Verizon for more than a decade and the fact they they were willing to lie to me about their efforts to resolve the issue and the lack of urgency, which I feel like was a total lack of consideration on their part left me rethinking my continued business with them. I expect more from a company of this size that charges so much for their services.
