How can I get a static IP address for my residential DSL service?
The closest you can get to a "Static IP" on a Residential connection is to make sure you never have your connection drop. Otherwise, use a Dynamic DNS Service.
If you need a Static IP for any reason, you will have to have Verizon convert your service over to a Business connection, where they will then provide you with a Static IP address and anything else you need in order to satisfy your needs.
